Each Yokohama Museum of Art Collection Exhibition introduces works from our collection, centered around specific themes. Please take your time to thoroughly enjoy familiar works as well as those you encounter for the first time.

The Grand Gallery, our vast entrance hall, is the center of our Jiyu (Free) Area, where we display a variety of collections. No admission fee is required to view the works displayed in our Grand Gallery, the Corridor in front of the third-floor galleries, the Foyer, Gallery 9, and outdoors.
You will find our curators’ commentaries on the Collection Search, our online collection database. They are simple and clear—you don’t have to be an art major to enjoy them!
