To Visitors with Disabilities

Free Admission

Disabled persons with one helper or attendant may visit the museum free of charge. Please exhibit your Identification Booklet for people with disabilities (shogaisha techo). 
(Reservations for group visits are required. Please click here for group visit bookings.)

Free Parking for 90 minutes

The first 90 minutes of parking is free for visitors who have an Identification Booklet for people with disabilities (shogaishatecho).

This service is not available to those who visit only the restaurant.

Wheelchairs

Our staff will guide you to the exhibition floors using the elevators.
Wheelchairs are available free of charge at Information.

Toilets

All the restrooms in the museum have an accessible rest room.

Appreciation Programs

The museum offers various programs which help people with or without disabilities to have a more enjoyable experience at the museum. (Japanese only)

To Visitors with Children

Strollers

Children in strollers can enter the galleries. Our staff will guide you to exhibition floors using an elevator. Strollers are available free of charge at Information.
*We may have to ask you not to use a stroller in the galleries during busy hours.

Baby Carriers

Baby carriers are available free of charge at Information.
Baby carriers can be used when it is difficult to take strollers into the galleries during busy hours.

Baby Feeding Room

There is a baby feeding room next to the Lecture Hall entrance on the 2nd floor of the museum.
Please ask our staff at Information (the room is usually locked).
There is another baby feeding in the Children’s Workshop for users of the workshop.

Baby Changing

Baby Changing facilities are in the accessible rest rooms, and in the men’s room and the ladies’ room of the Children’s Workshop. The pullout tables can be used for one month old to two and a half year old children. Baby holders can be used for five month old to two and a half year old children. Please take used diapers home with you.

Baby Chairs in the Café Ogurayama

Two wooden child-safe high chairs are available at the Café Ogurayama.
Please ask our staff in the cafe if you wish to use a high chair.

Please kindly follow the Visitor Tips and Policies, so that the art works can be protected and all the visitors can enjoy the exhibitions.
